Emmanuel Chavez @dishwasher89 is the founder of @tatemo_htx - focused on a mission “to restore the cultural value of maíz, and its nutritional value in Houston, Texas by showcasing the diversity of heirloom corn, from different landscapes and purveyours of Mexico via masa products like tortillas.” Manny and I met working together at the Alexis Hotel for a brief stint here in Seattle, and we’ve kept in touch ever since.
