My guest today is Aarthi Sampath, she's beat Bobby Flay, worked at the Michelin-starred Junoon in New York, ran the food truck called Kukree here in Seattle, and is now the head chef at Chinese Tuxedo. Aarthi and I met when a restaurant real estate friend of mine brought her as a plus one to one of my farmers market dinners I used to do, and we basically hit it off from there, and this was a great opportunity to get some INSANE value points from her on the record in this conversation, as well as just catch up on how she's been doing in pandemic times.
